Prohibits the use of drones to look for, scout, or detect wildlife as an aid in hunting or taking wildlife.

Makes it unlawful to operate drones in Colorado State Parks except in designated areas at Cherry Creek and Chatfield State Parks model airfields.

Prohibits using a drone to obstruct or interfere with peace officers, firefighters, EMS, rescue specialists, or volunteers in the performance of their public safety duties.

Requires the Department of Public Safety’s Center of Excellence to study and integrate UAS for firefighting, search and rescue, accident reconstruction, and emergency management, and establishes a pilot program deploying UAS teams to fire-hazard regions.
