Unmanned Aircraft Systems Act (FS 330.41)Effective: 9/1/2013

Preempts local drone ordinances; prohibits UAS operation over schools and critical infrastructure facilities.

St. Johns River Water Mgmt District Drone Ban (FAC 40C-9.320)Effective: 6/7/2004

Prohibits launching or landing drones on district-managed lands without a Special Use Authorization.

Freedom from Unwarranted Surveillance Act (FS 934.50)Effective: 7/1/2013

Prohibits recording images of private property or persons with a drone without written consent; creates civil cause of action.
