Requires law enforcement authorities using unmanned aircraft to comply with FAA public aircraft operations requirements and report their use to the governor and legislature biennially.

A person intentionally or knowingly operates an unmanned aircraft over a critical infrastructure facility or allows it to contact or come close enough to interfere with operations.

A person possessing, disclosing, displaying, distributing, or using an image captured in violation of Section 423.003 commits an offense.

Operation of Unmanned Aircraft over Sports VenueEffective: 9/1/2017

A person intentionally or knowingly operates an unmanned aircraft over a sports venue with seating capacity of 30,000 or more people and the aircraft is not higher than 400 feet above ground level.

Permits for Aerial Management of Wildlife and Exotic SpeciesEffective: 4/4/2005

Prohibits the use of drones to count, photograph, capture, relocate, hunt, or take wildlife or exotic animals except under an Aerial Management Permit and written Landowner Authorization.
